The art of the gentle paw.
A gi for those who train hard—and nap harder.

Design Story

Inspired by the spirit of Meowamoto—the wandering feline swordsman—this gi blends tradition, playfulness, and quiet discipline.

The exterior keeps things sharp and minimal, while the interior reveals a full custom pattern of lucky cats, symbols, and iconography drawn from Japanese folklore. At the center sits Meowamoto himself: part warrior, part good luck charm.

Finished with “Neko-Jitsu” detailing and “The Art of the Gentle Paw,” this gi is a reminder that jiu jitsu isn’t just about force—it’s about timing, feel, and a little bit of mischief.

Performance & Feel

Built with a 380 GSM pearl weave jacket, the Meowamoto Gi is lightweight, breathable, and ideal for everyday training.

Paired with durable 10 oz twill cotton pants, it offers a balance of structure and mobility—ready for long sessions, hard rounds, and everything in between.

FIT NOTES (IMPORTANT)

All height and weight ranges listed above are general guidelines, not exact prescriptions. Body composition, limb length, shoulder width, and personal fit preference (looser vs. competition fit) can all significantly affect how a gi fits.

Additionally, some gis—especially cotton models—may experience shrinkage after washing, even when following care instructions. If you are between sizes, consider how you prefer your fit and whether you plan to air dry or machine dry when selecting your size.

When in doubt, sizing up for length or down for a more tailored fit are both valid choices depending on your goals.

WOMEN’S FIT NOTES

Our women’s cuts are designed with a more contoured fit:
– Slightly tapered sleeves and pants
– Narrower shoulders
– More room through the hips
– A slightly higher rise in the back of the pants

That said, not every athlete will prefer a gender-specific cut. Many female grapplers—especially those with longer limbs or a straighter build—find that men’s “A” sizes provide a better overall fit.

There is no strict one-to-one conversion between women’s and men’s sizes, but if you’re considering crossing over into an “A” size, we’re happy to help—just send your height, weight, and general build, and we’ll point you in the right direction.
