WHEN POSSIBLE, PLEASE REFER TO YOUR MEASUREMENTS… AND NOT TO YOUR VIBES.

// all measurements are in centimeters (cm), taken on the garment laid flat //

Gis

The surest way to nail your gi size: take your best-fitting gi, lay it flat, and measure it against the chart. Each letter (A–J) matches a point on the diagram below. Match your numbers to the closest column — and when you're between two, size up, because a cotton gi shrinks a little on its first hot wash.

Women's Fit Notes

Our women's cuts are designed with a more contoured fit:

  • Slightly tapered sleeves and pants
  • Narrower shoulders
  • More room through the hips
  • A slightly higher rise in the back of the pants

That said, not every athlete prefers a gender-specific cut. Many female grapplers — especially those with longer limbs or a straighter build — find men's "A" sizes fit better overall. There's no strict one-to-one conversion, so if you're thinking about crossing into an "A" size, send us your height, weight, and general build and we'll point you the right way.

The shrink rule Wash cold, hang or low-tumble dry, and your gi keeps its size. One hot wash + hot dryer will shrink a cotton gi roughly half a size — useful if you land at the top of a range, risky if you're already snug.

Rash Guards

Rash guards are a compression cut — they're meant to fit snug. Measure flat against the chart, or match the size you'd take in a fitted athletic top. If you like a hair more room, size up one.

Women's vs. Unisex Spats

  • Women's spats — high waistband, thicker GSM fabric, center-seamed with no gusset.
  • Men's / unisex spats — structured with a triangle gusset to avoid center seams.

// only the unisex spat chart was provided — send the women's spat measurements and I'll add a second table //
